Community Response Task Force
Minutes from Board Meeting on Nov. 14, 2014
The meeting was called to order by Carole Chambers at 12:03 pm.
Those in attendance were Carole Chambers, Susan Cotton, Richard Driscoll, and Chris Green.
Carole reported that there was a balance of $2,907.23 in the CRTF account.
A motion was made and a seconded to approve the minutes and treasurers report as written.
The CRTF website was addressed. Rosendo Reyna has done an outstanding job on revamping the site. Carole asked everyone to look it over and to let her know if something needs to be changed. She would also like pictures to put on the website if anyone has any.
Carole made a motion that was seconded by Richard to accept the resignation of board member Shannon Sharp. The person to replace him will be on the board agenda for the January meeting.
There was some discussion about making the Secretary/Treasurer one position. Carole stated that all financial items (checkbook etc) must be kept at her office according to the by-laws. Susan stated that in standard business practices it should be separate but that this group (not being a standard business) could probably be tied together. This item was tabled until January.
The election of board members was held. All board members are now on the board. An election among the board members for officer positions will be held on December 12, 2014.
The next board meeting will be December 12, 2014 AT 10 am at 110 W. Main Street.
The next regular meeting will be held on January 9, 2014 at Homewood Suites, Kingwood, TX.
